The ketogenic diet, which served as dining epilepsy prevention plan, is now being used by people who need to shed excess weight. There are two types of "long-chain triglycerides" (LCTs) and medium-chain triglycerides (MCT).

Ketogenic Diet Overview

In a normal diet, the human need to consume higher amounts of carbohydrates because it acts as a source of energy for the body to function properly and less fat as the only fat stored in the body as a reserve when the body needs more fuel. As the body needs more carbohydrates, it is the first food group and thus one feels hungry after a while that is not so in the case of hunger that is high in fat.
